Will used calculator be ready to use when i receive it?

I just ordered a used TI 83 Plus.  Will the calculator come equipped and ready to use for a Statistics class including graphs or will I need to load an OS or software?   I read some other posts about needing to upload software but i really need the calculator to be usable immediately.  Does anyone know?  Thanks!

There are programs that are optional to download and install. For most people they are not necessary and the calculator will do most things you need without any extra programs.
