y is in and of itself. You must always change the equation so the y is the end result by itself. so in calculator you select stat plot...y= x 2/5 power minus one since the previous equation shows that x 2/5 power is the greater number from which the addends produced. Then you select standard result and your graph will reveal that the answer is negativew one.
